The Garden to Table Trust is a charitable organisation which operates a curriculum integrated programme where children aged between 7 and 10 learn about fresh seasonal food.
Kiwi Conservation Club (Forest & Bird)
This is ‘junior Forest & Bird’ aimed at children aged between 3 – 13 years. Members receive the Wild Things magazine with topics ranging from sharks to worms and global warming. KCC Coordinators arrange adventures for members in most places around NZ and some KCC clubs get involved in local conservation projects eg tree-planting, seed ball making, beach care, lizard gardens and nesting boxes for little blue penguins.
